Junior High and Senior High Course Catalogs

The course catalogs contain a summary of the 7th-12th grade course offerings in the Mesa Public Schools. As you examine the courses, note that each subject area goal is presented, along with the essential skills (minimum learning skills the student must accomplish in a subject area), at the beginning of each curriculum department's course listing.

Mesa Public Schools' curriculum emphasizes the critical skills that are essential for all students to master in reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies, as well as an expectation that students are challenged and provided opportunities to excel to their potential.  We are very proud of our long tradition of excellence in academics, athletics, career and technical education, creative and performing arts, along with providing a variety of course offerings and extra-curricular activities in these areas.

Mesa Public Schools' graduation requirements represent the culmination of a successful K-12 education that serves as a launching pad to college and career opportunities. The graduation requirements are outlined in the Course Catalogs and include consistent attendance, the completion of the credits required for graduation, and appropriate levels of proficiency as measured by the AIMS (Arizona’s Instrument to Measure Standards) tests.
