There is a material Usage Fee for Art Courses. Some courses
have prerequisites; students must meet the prerequisite
before taking the course.

AR01
INTRODUCTION TO ART - one semester 1/2 credit
This course is designed to provide students with an
art experience which incorporates the elements and principles
of design and includes an emphasis in experimentation
with a variety of art media and techniques.

AR02
GENERAL (INTERMEDIATE) ART - one semester 1/2
credit
This course is designed to reinforce and strengthen
art concepts experienced in Introduction to Art through
expansion of media and techniques with emphasis on self-expression
and technical growth. Prerequisite: AR01 Intro to Art.

AR24
INTRODUCTION TO PHOTOGRAPHY - one semester
1/2 credit
This course covers basic black and white photography,
including film processing, print enlarging, composition,
and some experimental techniques. It is recommended
that students own a camera. Teacher signature required.

ADVANCED ART - one semester 1/2 credit
This course is designed to reinforce and strengthen
art concepts experienced in Introduction to Art through
expansion of media and techniques, with emphasis on
self-expression and technical growth. Prerequisite:
AR02 General Art. Teacher signature required.
