Congratulation on Winning "Shopping Makes Cents"

We wanted to follow up and share with you the results of our Shopping Makes Cents for Our Schools program. Fiesta Mall, Superstition Springs Center and other Westcor Shopping Centers, started this program late July and concluded August 31st.

The points have been tallied and I am happy to share the results of our winning schools with you first!

Overall, Westcor will be awarding $50,000 to more than 70 Arizona schools as a result of the community supported Shopping Makes Cents for Our Schools, program. We thank each and every school for participating and congratulate our winners.

Westcor’s 14 statewide regional shopping centers, from July 26, 2010 to Aug. 31, 2010, encouraged guests to earn points for participating schools when accomplishing their back-to-school shopping at Westcor.   As a result of the tremendous support over 70 schools qualified to receive a donation varying from $250 - $1,500.

In Mesa, we were proud to team with Mesa Public Schools. The winning schools were:

Fiesta Mall:

Rhodes Jr. High School, $1,500

Washington Elementary, $1,000

Pomeroy Elementary, $500

Summit Academy, $325

Crimson Elementary, $250

Superstition Springs Center:

Mesa Academy for Advanced Studies, $1,500

Taft Elementary School, $1,000

Madison Elementary, $500

Patterson Elementary, $325

CONGRATULATIONS, THANK YOU and we look forward to continually partnering with our community and especially Mesa Public Schools!
