MEMORIAL
GARDEN: On the east side of the cafeteria, you’ll
find a Memorial Garden filled with colorful flowers, green
plants and pristine landscaping. This Memorial Garden, dedicated
to former students and staff that have left this world but
will be forever remembered in our hearts and minds, was
built by Southwest Lawn Care (owned by former Rhodes parent
Matthew Gordon). A plaque identifying the Memorial Garden
is being made and will be hung on the wall for all to see.
A maroon, eight foot long bench, donated by Pat and Rebecca
Linneen, will soon be placed in the garden. The Memorial
Garden was created by Rhodes students as a special place
for people to come and meditate/remember those who have
left this world. Students will maintain and care for the
garden. Anyone wishing to make a donation to the Memorial
garden can do so by contacting the Assistant Principal’s
Secretary, Toni Ochoa, at 480-472-2320.
