Biography

I am very excited to be part of the Chameleon team at Riverview High School. I am a very proud product of Mesa Public Schools. I attended Jefferson, Brimhall (now Franklin), and Red Mountain. I received the tools necessary to thrive in the educational world. I set my goals high and worked hard to achieve success in obtaining a B.A. in psychology and a minor in women, gender and cultural studies. After completing my undergraduate degree at Arizona State University, I decided I wanted to pursue a Masters degree in Professional Counseling at Ottawa University. Concurrently, I began working as a substitute teacher in Mesa Public Schools. I found myself enthralled with the opportunities available to Mesa students. In particular,  the opportunity to work in a district that prides itself on diversity and community. I continued my education and received a M.A. in professional counseling.  Furthermore, I earned a degree in School Guidance Counseling. I continued to build my experience in the educational setting as a substitute. I am looking forward to meeting the students, parents, and guardians.
