Students are expected to follow all campus and district policies as outlined in the student handbook/planner. Dress code and conduct standards are set so that all students learn to be part of the Red Mountain community and gain skills necessary to transition from high school.

Good attendance is imperative in order for a student to be successful in school. In order to receive credit for a class, students must attend 90% or more. Frequent absences (more than 10 per semester) will result in loss of credit for the semester. If students require frequent absences due to medical conditions, a chronic illness form needs to be picked up in the nurse’s office, certified by a doctor, and returned to the nurse. Once this is on file the student will be placed on “chronic ill status” and can receive credit after exceeding the allowable amount of absences. This process is not retroactive; a new form will need to be filed in the nurse’s office each year.

Students in the Autism Program are graded on a 4 level rubric.
