Biography
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Mercy Junior College in 1968 with my AAN. I went on to complete my undergraduate studies at St. Francis University in Joliet, Illinois. I earned my Master of Education, Counseling-Human Relations from Northern Arizona University in 2004. Before becoming a Certified School Nurse, 17 years ago, my years of experience included being a Surgical Head Nurse, a Hospital Supervisor, an ICU and ER Nurse, Home Health and a Legal-Nurse Consultant.
School Nursing has been my most fulfilling and rewarding position. I am very proud to be a part of the Mesa Unified Public School District. I have been married 41 years to my best friend and have 3 wonderful adult children and a granddaughter named Jamison who is the joy of my life.
