Welding and Fabrication Skills USA Chapter
Who We Are
The Red Mountain Welding and Fabrication Skills USA Chapter strives not to just make a difference on campus- but on lives. The Chapter is very active in supporting other clubs and participating in campus events, having a traditional banner used in the Homecoming Tailgate parade. Campus beautification is not just something the Chapter volunteers for- it's a requirement. The Chapter believes in campus cultural change and as a way of showing that belief- picking up trash off the campus daily is a requirement for its members. But striving to make change is not limited to the Red Mountain campus as the Chapter makes their mark on other schools as exeptional welders at competitions. The Chapter has a formed Welding Tream that takes the top welders in the program and goes to competitions- many of which are Red Mountain victories. What started out as a young and underfunded club seven years ago has now grown into a thriving program with a knack for inspiring Welding One students to become apart of something greater than themselves.
The Chapter meets every Wednesday during lunch in room 340. Notifications are available here to stay up to date with the Chapter's Remind! Stay tuned for The Welding Journal- coming soon!
