I’m originally from Fushun City of the People’s Republic of China. While visiting the Phoenix area in 2012, I met my future husband and I joined my sister, immigrating to the U.S. in 2013. After that, I began volunteering with the World Languages Department at Westwood and Dobson High Schools, assisting the Mandarin teacher. In 2014, I was fortunate enough to join the Dobson High school family teaching Mandarin and Earth Science. In 2018 my good fortune continued in that I was able to join the faculty in Red Mountain High school as well. Over the years the mandarin program has grown, in 2019 - 2020 that growth continues with addition of our college dual enrollment program. I am looking forward to a terrific year in 2020-2021.
