90-100% = A

80-89% = B

70-79% = C

60-69% = D

Below 59% or below = F

Absences:  Students must attend at least 90 percent of class sessions in a semester to receive a passing grade or credit.  If a student is absent more than nine days in a semester, grades or credit may be withheld.

Tardies:  Students need to be to class on time.  If they are more than 10 minutes late, district policy states that they are to be marked absent.  Tardiness is unacceptable.  If a student is tardy, they need to check with me to make sure they have not been marked absent.

Late/Missing Work

All assignments are due at the beginning of class on the due date.  If an assignment is more than two days late, students will receive 50% credit.  If assignment is more than a week late student will receive a zero for that assignment.  If you have an excused absence, you have the same number of days you missed to make up the work.  It is the student's responsibility to collect work that was missed because of an absence.

No electronics will be allowed in class unless a specific assignment requires it.  All confiscated electronics will be given to the front office.
