All 2018 seniors need to take a senior yearbook portrait at Southwest Portraits. To book an appointment, go to southwestportraits.com or call them at 480-222-1199. Saturday, September 16, 2017 is the final day for senior yearbook portraits at Southwest Portraits (4450 S. Rural Rd., Tempe). The final opportunity to get senior portraits taken will be on Thursday, September 28th from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Auditorium. September 28th is also UNDERCLASS RETAKES day from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Portraits are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tonight is Road to College Night at Red Mountain!  Visit with reps from ASU, NAU, U of A, GCU and MCC.  Learn about completing the FAFSA, paying for college, playing college sports, accessing scholarships, out-of-state schools and so much more!  Come set up your future at Road to College Night this evening at 6:30 in Red Mountain's auditorium.

Homecoming week is fast approaching. Show your school spirit by dressing for spirit week beginning on Monday. The themes for the week are:

Sept 11: ‘merica Monday (red, white & blue)

Sept 12: Tie Dye Tuesday

Sept 13: Wild Wednesday (dress as your favorite animal)

Sept 14: Thrift Shop Thursday

Sept 15: Blackout Friday

The Homecoming Dance will be held on Sat. Sept 16 from 7-10 pm. Please bring your ID as your ticket.

Homecoming Dance tickets are on sale in the bookstore. Visitors will not be accepted at the door and you must see Mrs. Morton in the front office for a visitor's pass.

The Change Exchange will be drawing a name for the next winner of the Spirit Couch at the next home football game. Bring in your Red Mountain Change for an entry.  The winner and 2 friends will sit in the end zone enjoying pizza and refreshments while watching the Mountain Lions crush the competition. Hurry in, the drawing will be Monday, September 11th.

Senior year is the defining year for graduates as they leave the halls of Red Mountain and advance forward to the real world. Tutoring is available every Tuesday and Thursday before school (6:50-7:50 am) and every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after school (3:30-5:00 pm) in The Commons. Take advantage of this great opportunity for academic support.
