Literary Explorations-Sophomores
Course Description: This course will survey representative selections from different genres of literature such as short stories, Nonfiction, Poetry, Shakespeare, and the Novel while preparing students for specific writing experiences such as literary analysis and exposition. Literary terms, vocabulary study, and composition techniques will also be incorporated. Students will continue to review and reinforce grammar, mechanics and usage skills through a variety of reading and writing activities. Reading and writing at home is essential to a student’s success in this class.
