My name is LiLi Carrasco and I have been teaching since 1997 in Arizona. I was born in Iowa but the vast majority of my family is from Panama. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with my Bachelors Degree in Spanish. I focused primarily on Spanish literature from the middle ages. I then went to the University of Iowa were I earned my Masters in Teaching Foreign Languages with emphasis in Spanish.

I have taught Spanish at all levels, from elementary schools to college courses. I have been with the Mesa School District since 2008. I spend three years at Brimhall Junior High teaching Spanish 1 and 2. I then went to Westwood High school and taught  Spanish classes for native Spanish speakers. This is my sixth year at Red Mountain and I am currently teaching Spanish 1 and AP Spanish Literature and Culture (Spanish 5).
