This is my 23rd year with Mesa Public Schools as a special education teacher. I graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University in 1998 with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in special education.  I earned my Master's degree in educational counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2003.  Prior to coming to RMHS, I worked with students in grades K-8 at Porter Elementary and Poston Junior High.

I traded in my winter boots for flip-flops in 1996 to get away from Michigan's harsh winters and gray skies. Living in this great state provides me with many opportunities to find outdoor adventure year-round. My husband and I continue to enjoy seeing life through the eyes of our nine-year-old son.

I look forward to working with you and your child.  I expect this to be an educational and exciting year for both students and myself.

May this be your best year ever!
