10th Grade English

This course integrates of survey literature and composition. Course content combines the study and skills of effective writing for a variety of purposes. Writing exercises emphasizes the writing process, research, critical and creative thinking, language skills; and are based on literary models. Literature study introduces literary terminology, critical and analytic reading, and an appreciation for literature.  -from the MPS course catalog

Homework

You will have homework in English class, GUARANTEE. There will be daily vocabulary homework (vocab cards, study guide, review) and a weekly test. Most assignments are completed in class, or whatever is not completed will be homework. Please check the homework calendar for your assignments.
