A few things about Mr. Ron Adams:
I teach Biology and Sundown Science at Red Mountain and also serve as the Science Department Chairperson. In the past I have taught Life Science, Consumer Chemistry, General Chemistry, Desert Biology, and Student Government. I hold a BA in Education from Arizona State University with majors in both Biology and History. I have a Masters in Science Education from Northern Arizona University. This is my thirty-first year teaching science with Mesa Public Schools. The first nine were at Mountain View High School and the past twenty one years have been here at Red Mountain.
my wife Cheryl teaches moderately mentally handicapped students at SHARP school. Our oldest daughter graduated last year from Arizona State University, and now lives in Portland, Oregon where she is studying to be a nurse midwife. Our younger daughter is a Mountain View High School senior and a member of the championship Mountain View Academic Decathlon team. Our family pets include a ten year old chonzer Abby Gail, a two year old miniature dachshund Lola, a 13 year old cockatiel Floyd, as well as the assorted animals I keep in my Red Mountain classroom.
