Essentials of Reading and Writing is an SLD English class.
- Instruction will be based on the Common Core Standards
- Reading will entail the practicing of skills, focusing on comprehension, and decoding.
- Writing: we will be concentrating on improving multiparagraph writing skills
- Working on mastery of IEP goals will be included in the instruction.
