Principal's Message

kidsOur Mission:

Everyone Learning,

Every Day

We are proud of RMRE students!

Eleven RMRE students won the 2012 District Writing Contest. Winning writers were Mercedes Ortiz, Michael Borrman, Hannah Martinson, Case Felstead, Natalia Demichellis, Claire Glennon, Cora Hentges, Jackson Giles, Jackelyn Lobatos, Scott Thompson and Makenna Fullford.

Six RMRE students auditioned for and earned the privilege to perform with the 2012 Mesa Youth Orchestra at Mesa Arts Center. The outstanding musicians were McKenna Montes, Lauren Hardy, Hannah Spude, Chris Lambert, Connor Hooper and Justin Nelson.

Twenty-two RMRE fifth graders were inducted into the National Elementary Honor Society for the 2012 - 2013 school year. NEHS students contribute service to the school and the community all year long. These students help needy families and students, the elderly, hospital bound patients, and add value to the students and staff at RMRE.

RMRE students are recognized every month for reading. The Readers of the Year for 2011 - 2012 were Myles Grunwald and Tristan Arner.

We are proud of and thankful for our teachers who strive to ensure each child develops his or her full potential in the academics, the arts, physical education, leadership and service.

We are thankful for all the support staff from the front office to the nurse's office who keep RMRE running well with helpfulness, respect and kindness.

Our building and grounds are well kept because we have the best custodial, maintance, and grounds staff dedicated to keeping RMRE beautiful and clean.

Our aides keep the playgrounds and street crossings safe every day. They work with students to help them learn. They keep the cafeteria humming! We are thankful for their daily contributions to our school's success.

We are grateful for our consistent family involvement and support. RMRE Parent Teacher Council offers many opportunities for familes to enjoy all year long. PTC parents volunteer every day on behalf of the students and staff. Our school is a better school because of the consistent and effective support of the parents.
