Biography

Hello and welcome to our class web page. My name is Mrs. Cindy Davis.  I have been teaching in the Mesa Public Schools District since 1991.  I taught at Lehi Elementary School for six years, three in L.D. Resource, two in 3rd grade, and my final year at Lehi was in a self-contained Language-Learning Disability classroom.   I moved to Roosevelt Elementary for the 1998-1999 school year and have been teaching in the self-contained Specific Language-Learning Disability (S.L.L.D.) classroom since I began here.  I love the kids and the staff at Roosevelt and I plan to stay here until I retire. 

I received my Bachelors Degree in Special Education from Arizona State University in May, 1991.  I received my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in 1994.

I have been married to the same wonderful man since December, 1970.  His name is Frank.  He is an engineer at Arizona State University.  We have two beautiful daughters, Lisa and Karen.  Karen is a sales manager for the Ritz Carlton Hotel, and Lisa is a stay-at-home Mom, taking care of four terrific grandchildren, Logan, Collin, Tyler and Andrea. 

I have two dogs, Daisy and Annie.  They love to sleep with us and snuggle on the couch.  They also love going to our cabin in the mountains.
