Hi my name is Rosalie D'Amico and have been part of the Roosevelt family for 26 years.  I began my education at Mesa College in Grand Junction Colorado, then transferred to University of Northern Colorado where I completed my 4 year degree in K-12 Physical Education with a minor in Psychology.  After graduating, I worked on a cruise ship only to realize how much I missed children.  I then attended ASU where I received my MED with emphasis in Early childhood education/development.

My first job was in Phoenix as the head teacher for Headstart. After a wonderful year of experience, I was hired in Mesa at Eisenhower Elementary where I taught kindergarten for 6 years.  I then arrived here at Roosevelt and couldn't be happier!  I have also received my endorsement in ESL and continue to pursue educational classes that benefit me in serving the needs of all children.

I taught the Y-K program before being moved to kindergarten.  Children are so precious and truly "learn what they live".   I am honored and privledged to be able to teach such young children,  implementing the important skills necessary in getting along with others, learning rules and  achieving  success in every area they experience at their own level.  My job truly is fufilling and I am so lucky to be able to care for your children and provide a positive safe loving environment in which they can achieve their utmost potential.

Together we can provide the necessary skills , values and opportunities for your children that will make a significant difference in their lives.
