Accelerated Reader Program (AR)
How do we become better readers? We become better readers the same way we improve at other skills: We practice! AR is a program that ensures reading success for every child be encouraging students to read independently at a reading level that is appropriate for them.

- To provide an opportunity for all students to read independently

- To build student's self-confidence

How can parents help?
- Encourage extra reading time at home
- Read with and to your child, at any age!
- Encourage your child to discuss what he/she is reading
- Visit public libraries and bookstores with your child
