Principal's Message    Vicki Hester

Dear Parent/Guardian and Students:

Welcome to Salk Elementary, Home of the Scorpions! We are excited that you are joining our Salk community. We have a dedicated and passionate staff, supportive parents and creative, talented students. We are going to do great things this year and are excited about the journey we will take together.

We are deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of your children. We will accomplish this by setting high academic expectations for all children and providing supportive systems to assure they are met. My priority is to ensure that all students at Salk receive a high quality education in a caring environment. I maintain an open door policy in which I welcome everyone to call or drop by and visit at any time. If I’m not available at that moment, Pam Bloomer, my administrative assistant, will be happy to make an appointment for you to see or talk to me.
