Biography

Welcome to Salk Elementary.  I look foward to working with your child this school year!

I graduated from Arizona State University in 1992.  I graduated with an English Second Language endorsement.  I have been teaching in the Mesa Public School District since 1993.  I taught at Whitman Elementary from 1993-2004. I received my Master's in Elementary Education in 1998.   I have taught at Salk since 2004.  I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade and Third Grade.  I have taught English Language Learners every year except for last year.

I have been a summer school teacher in the Mesa School District since 2000.  I have also been an ELD tutor for several years at Salk Elementary.

I truly enjoy teaching and can't wait to work with you and your child this school year!!
