Education is the key!
Dear Parents:
As we begin the start of a new school year, let us take a moment to understand the importance of your student's education. The steps taken now will assist in the formation of a solid foundation for your student to build upon in later years. Cracks in the foundation mean that your student will have a more difficult time trying to build a solid structure (a good education). Let's continue to work together to ensure that there are not cracks in the foundation and your student gets the education they deserve.
During this semester we will work to become fluent with our multiplication facts (0-11). Please encourage your student to study daily as fluency helps to build a strong foundation for future math success. Students should be reading daily at least 20 minutes a day and parents I encourage you to make reading a part of your student's daily homework routine. Homework is given every Mon-Thurs. and should be completed as it is practice of the daily concepts taught at school. Check your student's homework binder daily and sign all necessary papers.
Lets work together to make sure your student has a great year!
