Mrs. Karen Eulate
Karen Eulate graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education and earned her Masters Degree in Guidance Counseling from the University of Phoenix. She has been a teacher for several years;18 at Fremont Junior High and 2 at Westwood High School. Karen has also served Mesa Public Schools as a Professional Development Instructional Specialist for the past 8 years prior to arriving at SHARP as the Site/Team Leader. This will be Karen's 29th year as an educator in Mesa Public Schools.
As a Professional Development Instructional Specialist, Karen Eulate served a variety of comprehensive campus as well as success schools within MPS. Her time was spent collaborating with teachers to develop effective teaching practices. Additionally, she partnered with other educators to develop coursework dedicated to the constant goal of refining instruction. Karen continues this work at SHARP and with the Student Support Systems Department.
As Site Leader, Karen collaborates with the Director of Student Support Systems to support and serve the students, teachers, and surrounding community as each group works to encourage a positive, safe, and academically comprehensive climate that will help all students SOAR.
Karen's family is a group of proud educators! Each family member is also a part of Mesa Public Schools. She has one darling grandson who will one day also attend MPS.
