Mrs. Kimberly Wills
I have been teaching 32 years with Mesa Public Schools. I began in elementary, starting at Holmes Elementary (4 years) and O'Connor Elementary (14 years). Between those schools, I taught grades 3-6. Fourteen years ago I moved to Shepherd Junior High School and have taught English 7 and GT 7, English 8 and GT 8, Freshman English, and AVID 7 and 8. This year I am teaching English 8 and AVID 8.
I hold a:
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (K-8) from the University of Arizona
- Masters in Educational Administration from Arizona State University
- Middle School Endorsement from Rio Salado College
- Provisional Certificate for teaching Gifted and Talented students
In my effort to prepare my students for the challenges of high school and to continue Shepherd's tradition of academic responsibility and excellence, I expect students to work to their highest potential.
Personally, I have been married for 31 years, yes, to the same man! I have 2 daughters, Emilee graduated from Mountain View HS and attends UIW in San Antonio, TX, where she is on scholarship and continues synchronized swimming. She will graduate this December and will pursue Physical Therapy school. Kristin graduated from the University of Arizona - Go WILDCATS! and graduated with a B.A.degree in deaf studies and sign language and a Master's degree in Secondary Education. Currently she is teaching Sign Language at Queen Creek High School. Our family loves being outside, and I especially love anything to do with the beach and the ocean.
I am looking forward to meeting you and working with all your children!
