Welcome to Sirrine Elementary School, a Mesa Public School with a long history of academic excellence. Here at Sirrine, we are fortunate to have an exceptional veteran teaching staff comprised of highly qualified and highly compassionate educators who have a reputation for going the extra mile to help students succeed.
We are very proud of our fine arts, physical education, and media classes. Our music and art programs help students tap into their creative side, while also increasing their understanding and appreciation of the world around them. Our outstanding P.E. program not only develops students' physical skills, but fosters within them the enjoyment of and desire for life-long physical fitness. And Sirrine’s Media Center supports our students with its multiple computer labs, thousands of books, and countless reference materials.
We offer a number of extracurricular programs and activities throughout the school year including Math Masters, Writing Wizards, Green Thumb Club, Chess Club, Keyboarding, Family Math and Reading Nights, and our Community Holiday Breakfast.
Character development is very important at Sirrine. Daily, students participate in activities that help them recognize the value of strong character, and they have the opportunity to learn
leadership and service skills by participating in Student Council.
We have an active Parent-Teacher Organization that works diligently to support students and teachers with many scheduled activities throughout the school year. And as always, we invite and welcome your attendance at all PTO meetings.
By building strong character, encouraging independent and critical thinking, and fostering the fine arts, the staff of Sirrine focuses on helping the whole child grow to new and higher levels of achievement in various life pursuits.
We welcome you and are glad you are here!
