Welcome to the Sirrene Elementary Physical Education Department.  My name is Alan Dosmann. I attended college in North Dakota at Mayville State University.  I obtained degrees in Elementary Education and Physical  Education.  I also have a Masters in Physical Education from Arizona State University in Secondary Education.   I began teaching in the Mesa Unified School District in 1993.  Prior to teaching in Mesa, I taught 5th grade in North Dakota for three years.  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy running, hiking, golfing and spending time with my children.

I am excited to be starting my fourth year at Sirrine.    My philosophy of teaching is that all students are winners and can have a healthy lifestyle.  If students have a healthy body, that will lead to a healthy mind.

Besides teaching PE at Sirrine, I also coach after school sports; Running Club, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, and Soccer.  I also work with the Sirrine Student Council and serve as Team Leader for Special area teachers.

Student Teacher Andrea Gomez ASU

I am currently a student at Arizona State University majoring in Physical Education. I have played many sports throughout my life, with softball being one of my favorites. During my free time I like to watch or attend baseball and football games. I am excited for the opportunity to be completing my first semester of student teaching with Mr. Dosmann here at Sirrine Elementary.                                                                                                         Andrea Gomez
