Biography
Dear Parents or Guardians,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you as your child’s third grade teacher at Sirrine Elementary. My name is Brenda Currie-Naudet and I am excited about the wonderful possibilities for learning that await us during this school year.
While working on my Master’s degree in Elementary Education I substitute taught in the Mesa Public School District and I have been working in the district since graduating in 2009. I have been a kindergarten aide, substitute teacher, a Cadre member, which is a special group of guest teachers that fill in while the regular classroom teachers are out for professional development. I have also taught 3rd grade at Crismon Elementary before moving over to Sirrine last year.
I am a rare second generation native of Arizona and all of my immediate family lives here as well. I have a wonderful husband named Geoff. He even comes to help me out in the classroom sometimes. Our family is rounded out by our four legged child (dog), Rigley.
