Mr. Jacob Zamora & Mrs. Erin Parrott, Auditorium
Purpose: To give students an opportunity to work on stage, help with rentals, plays, dance concerts, or any other event in the auditorium.
The 4th hour stagecraft class plays a key roll in the performing arts department here at Skyline. The stagecraft class is in charge of running the light and sound boards for every event in the auditorium.
Skyline’s Theatre Department has two main stage productions year and The Performing Arts Department will put on a musical every 2 years. Technician work closely with our student stage manger for each production. Stage Krew is in charge of building the set, gathering props, helping out with costumes, setting lights, and running the light and sound boards backstage.
Skyline has two dance concerts a year. Skyline Stage Krew works with dancers in developing a light plot and design for each dance number. Dance Productions run for 2 weeks.
The band, choirs, and orchestra has a total of 4 concerts each per year. Stage Krew is in charge of setting up, hang microphones, running the light board and sound board.
