The Skyline Guidance and Counseling Department is extremely fortunate to have an extensive Career Center and a full time Career Specialist. The Career Center and Career Specialist provide a myriad of resources and opportunities to Skyline High School. The Career Center has information, presentations, and workshops on scholarships, financial aid, colleges, trade and technical schools, military, testing including the ACT, SAT, PSAT, ASVAB, and community college placement testing including Accuplacer and Compass, career choices and planning, job interviewing skills, and resumes. During the year representatives from colleges, technical schools, businesses, and the military schedule campus visits. A Scholarship Bulletin and a Success Post-Grad Bulletin are published each month by the Career Specialist that can be accessed on this counseling web site. |
