Homecoming

 

  • The Homecoming dance is on Saturday, September 23 from 7-10pm. Homecoming tickets are on sale in the bookstore. $20 with activity card, $25 without, at the door is $25 with activity card, $30 without.  All fines must be paid before purchasing tickets.

 

There will also be a FREE photo booth at the dance. Come join us at "A Night in New Orleans."

 

  • During spirit link sales second hour, student council will also tally the number of students participating in spirit week. The winner of spirit links and the most spirited will win breakfast parties.

  • Stop by the Coyote Strong table in the amphitheater before school on Friday for the chance to win more and learn about the Coyote Strong program.

 

The Late Bus is available to any student who needs to stay after school for tutoring, credit recovery, clubs, athletics or any other school related function. Sign up in the media center before 1 the same day and be prepared to show your ID to ride the bus.  Bus routes are on the Skyline website.

 

Open Gym and Open Fields are up and running!  Are you here at school in the morning without anything to do? They start at 6:45 every day!  Come out to the fields and to the gym to play soccer, basketball and other fun events.  Not into sports?  Let us know what other activities you'd like to see going on before school.

 

Have you heard about Coyote Strong and you want to be involved in Skyline's health and wellness program?  Coyote Strong is now a club and will be planning several fun schoolwide events throughout the year.  If you want to know more or to be a part of the Coyote Strong club, see Ms. Talia in the social work office.

 

Miscellaneous

  • Senior shirts are available in the bookstore. Come pick yours up if you pre-ordered. Also, there are some extras available - first come, first served. $12

     

  • Friday is the senior walk in for the assembly! Wear your new senior shirts or WEAR BLACK!!! 

 

  • Seniors, the deadline for your senior photo to be in the yearbook is September 30th. Schedule your appointment at Lou Coopey studios ASAP.

 

Career Center

 

  • If you are in the 9th to 12th grade with impressive community service hours, see Mrs. Harris in the Career Center about the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards Scholarship Application. You must have participated in a volunteer activity at least in part after September 1, 2016. Deadline is November 7th. 

 

Seniors that are applying for the Questbridge Scholarship just a reminder that the deadline is September 27th . If you need more information please see Mrs. Harris in the Career Center.

 

Clubs

 

  • The Spanish Club will be meeting tomorrow after school in Rm. 424.

     

  • Elements 'N Motion meets on Thursday mornings in Rm. 416 at 7:30 A.M.

 

  • Paw Pals meets on Tuesdays during lunch in room 443.  Students can earn service learning hours.
