This is Anita Williams' ninth year as a school counselor, and her first year as a Skyline Coyote. Prior to arriving at Skyline, Ms. Williams spent six years as a counselor at Westwood High School in Mesa and two years at Sacaton Middle School on the Gila River Reservation. Ms. Williams currently provides counseling and student guidance to students with the last name of A-Cox at Skyline High School. Additionally, Ms. Williams' responsibilities at Skyline include the following:

- Kuder Navigator/Technology Liason
- Freshman Guidance Curriculum
- Sophomore Guidance Curriculum
- Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Conference Selection (HOBY)
Anita Williams has a Masters of Education in Counseling (MEd) from Northern Arizona University, a Masters of Education in Human Relations (MEd) from Northern Arizona University, and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Arizona State University. Ms. Williams is also a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and a member of the Arizona School Counselor's Association. Ms. Williams has eighteen years experience in counseling, social work, and non-profit management. Prior to working at Mesa Public Schools, Ms. Williams worked in the Sacaton Public School District and in various public and private counseling and social service agencies including A & A Cottages, Inc., PREHAB of AZ (now A New Leaf), and AZ Child Protective Services.
