Biography
I graduated from Douglas County High School in Minden, Nevada in 1988. I then took some time away from school and began attending Mesa Community College in 1992. I graduated from Arizona State University in the fall of 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. I earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2003 from the University of Phoenix, and I have recently earned a Master's degree in Educational Supervision and Administration from Arizona State University.
I did my student teaching at Westwood High School in 1996 and finished the year out there as a permanent substitute teacher when a teacher fell ill and had to leave. I taught at Globe High School in 1997-1998 and Red Mountain High School in 1998-1999. When Skyline High opened in 1999, I took a position here and remain one of the few teachers who opened Skyline. Here at Skyline I have taught all grade levels (including the freshmen who were here in 1999-2000) and most of the subjects. I am currently teaching British Literature, Mythology, and Principles of English I.
