I was born in Michigan and grew up close to the Tri-City area. In 1993, I moved with my family to Yuma, Arizona, where my mother worked as an elementary school teacher and I finished my high school years. I continued my education at Arizona State University, graduating with a Bachelors degree in Microbiology.
After graduating from ASU, I worked in the private sector doing environmental science. My positions involved the science of microbiology to analyze air and water quality. After taking some time off to raise my young children, I decided to come back to the science field as a high school teacher. I come from a family of educators and I enjoy teaching the young minds of our future.
Outside of my teaching position, I enjoy watching my 3 boys play multiple sports. I also enjoy traveling, camping, and spending time with my family. Thank you for visiting my page.
