I am a native of El Paso, Texas where I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1987 and again in 1991.  I knew very early in life that I wanted to become a teacher, and I have been teaching in some capacity since I was twenty years old.  I began my teaching career as a middle school teacher at St. Joseph's parochial school and later taught adult English classes for El Centro de Idiomas Trueba, in Cd. Juarez, Mexico. After graduating from college, I taught high school English for ten years before moving to Arizona in 1997. In 2005 I began teaching Reading at Fremont Jr. High and later moved into an English position. After six years at Fremont, I decided that it was time to return to high school. This is my sixth year at Skyline; I look forward to another terrific year as a Skyline Coyote!
