User Name & Password
Your district user name and password are what you will use to access all district resources, including student email, Canvas, the Student Portal, One Note, Gradpoint, Big Ideas, etc.
You should receive your username when you check out your device.
If you did not check out a device yet, contact Jesse Twigg to arrange pick up of a device.
He is available M-F from 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
The default password for students is:
· Capital first initial
· lowercase last initial
· Six digit Student ID
If you need your password reset, use this form.
The Student Portal is where you can see your schedule, teachers, attendance, grades, etc.
- Username: Your email WITHOUT the @students.mpsaz.org. It is just the first part.
- Password: Same password you use for email.
Go to this site to access your student email.
It uses the same username and password as your computer.
This is also linked at the top of the district home page, and the bottom of the Dobson homepage. Look for links that say MPSConnect.
Bookmark this page in Chrome so you can get to it easily.
Check your email everyday. Teachers and counselors may send you information this way.
Canvas is the district's Learning Management System (LMS).
This is your online classroom, and where you will go to access your coursework and links to live classes.
Each of your courses has a course tile on the Canvas Dashboard. Click on each one to access that course's information.
Common issues during canvas logging in are not putting the "s" at the end of student. Example: email@example.com.
