NAL is an opportunity for 7th& 8th graders to learn and have fun at the same time. Team members can participate in public speaking activities and use buzzers to answer jeopardy like questions. Questions focus on general knowledge that is learned in class. The presentation team debates in front of an audience on topics such as terrorism, airport safety, environmental issues and foreign U.S presidents. Participation in the N.A.L. has led to college scholarships. The team receives an award of donuts for every victory. The NAL season starts in October and ends in February. Everyone interested in being on the team will tryout. NAL will also be offered during REACH. If you are interested in NAL you should choose it as your REACH class.
