Why: 7th & 8th Graders at Smith are learning about the United States government. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see our nation's lawmakers in action. Students will have an opportunity to develop their leadership skills with group discussions. Students who have any behavior issues at Smith JHS will not be allowed to go on the trip. lincoln

Registration Information: We may host an electronic registration evening at Smith Jr. High on (tbd). You may come to Smith and use the computer lab to file your registration or you may file it on your own. You must have paid your $100 deposit by the due date in order to participate.

ECA Donation

If you pay Arizona State Income Taxes, why not fill out an ECA card and turn into the Bookstore along with your payment! You get a dollar-for-dollar tax credit and it also pays for your child's trip!! Married couples can pay $400/calendar tax year; single parents can each get $200/calendar tax year. Get your friends to help pay for the rest of the trip by making this donation to Close-Up in your child's name.

Remember that ECA donations are Non-Refundable, but you will get tax benefit regardless.
