Builders of Literacy Club are selling Valentine Grams February 6th - 10th.

More than 100 students were recognized on Thursday, January 26th at our Fourth Annual Literacy Showcase. Congratulations to these students and their families for being selected from over 950 students!   The complete list of students and more about this award can be found in our Spring Semester Newsletter.

Want to check your child's grades?  To begin your My MPS account; please visit the school office and complete the required form (picture ID required).  An activation key will be emailed to you within a few days.  If you have already completed the form but have not received your activation key or your key has expired please contact Sue Bartow, Family Support Specialist 480-472-9940 or ssbartow@mpsaz,org to request that the activation key be resent.

Has your family been faced with financial hardship such as a loss of a job, reduction in work hours or change in household size, then you may be eligible for the Free & Reduced meal program.  You can get a paper application from the school office, cafeteria or you can complete the application on line.  If you qualify, this can help reduce stress and strain that may be impacting your family.  If you have any questions please contact Steven Sandoval, Smith's cafeteria manager 480-472-9909. We are looking for parents to be a part of our Title I/School Improvement Advisory Committee (SIAC).  If you are interested please join us in the Media Center on Wednesday, February 22nd at 4:00pm.  

You can help Mesa students and possibly lower your tax bill by making a donation. There is still time to take advantage for the 2016 tax year, your contribution must be received or postmarked by April 15, 2017.   

Peachjar, a online e-flier delivery service.   Peachjar will help with the clutter of papers, cut down on printing costs, valuable sorting and distributing time.  Please update your email address at your child's school.
