The classroom is rich in multimodal communication systems, functional, adaptive and social skills are incorporated into the curriculum. Students will participate in inclusive settings whenever appropriate, with a focus on reducing adult support. The use of visual supports and reinforcement systems are used across settings to promote success, self-advocacy, and independence. The classroom is structured to respond to health and medical needs as appropriate.
