The Purpose of the Mesa Public Schools Visually Impaired Program is to provide, in partnership with the student, family and the school staff, the instruction, materials, equipment and consultation necessary for each student to achieve his/her maximum level of academic and social independence both socially and academically.  Our mission is supported by a commitment to:  We view accessibility to curriculum and advances in technology as avenues of equal opportunity for students with visual impairments in their present and future environments.
