As we come to the end of the final week of school, I wanted to wish all of you a fun and restful summer! Thanks for all your hard work this school year. We look forward to seeing you in August.

We are very happy to report that our ADE annual file review went very well today. We received many positive comments about the quality and compliance of our IEP and MET reports. This is the result of your hard work this year.

A few final reminders:

Now that all of the Synergy issues have been resolved, please be sure that all documents are finalized by the end of the week.

We also want to remind you that all special education records for students leaving your campus this year need to be sent to the new school or given to your school psychologist for inclusion in the box where they store protocols. This includes data sheets, correspondence documents, etc. Do not include anything you have already sent in to Special Education Records such as IEPs, since we do not need duplicates. See the Record Keeping Implementation Guideline on p. 142 for more details.

Special Ed Teachers ONLY - Summer access to Synergy SE
As in previous years, all teacher accounts (General Ed and Special Ed) will be inactivated for the summer on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 6:00pm.
If you need summer access to Synergy SE to finish up your current caseload, please send an email to Terri Swanson at taswanso@mpsaz.org. I will reactivate your User account on Tuesday morning, May 29.
This does not apply to psychologists and speech/language pathologists, you have access throughout the summer.
