Biography:

She has worked for Mesa Public Schools in Special Education and General Education for 29 years. She has a dual Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education with an emphasis in Emotional Disabilities from Arizona State University and a Masters Degree in Education from Northern Arizona State University, as well a certificate in English as a Second Language. She worked as a consultant providing behavioral supports and educational programs for students with disabilities in other school districts. She is a guest speaker for undergraduate and graduate education classes at Arizona State University. She is currently Mesa Public School District Special Education Emotional Disabilities Itinerant Teacher and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Trainer.
