I am a Speech Language Pathologist and work as a part of the excellent Speech Team at Stapley Jr. High. I am excited to be returning to Stapley for my 6th year as a Sabercat. My family has been a part of the Mesa Public Schools community for 21 years and we love it!
I graduated with my B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Utah (Go Utes!) in 1994, then again in 1996 with my M.S. in Speech Language Pathology. I have held the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, the American Speech and Hearing Association since 1997. I am a firm believer in being a continual learner and have received the "ACE" award from ASHA for continuing education. I also hold certificates from the Arizona Department of Health Services, and the Arizona Department of Education.
When I'm not at Stapley, or with my family, you will find me on my computer doing graphic design or up enjoying the peace of the mountains. I love the quote by Walt Disney, "Keep moving forward." I plan to "keep moving forward" with the students at Stapley to improve speech and language skills for a successful year and a successful foundation for the future.
For the 21-22 school year, I will be at Stapley Tuesday through Thursday. I am happy to answer any questions you might have. Feel free contact me by phone or through email.
