LibGuide:  Working With Students Who Have Hearing Impairments

Biography

I am a special education itinerant teacher who works with students who have hearing impairments throughout the district.  I have been teaching in Mesa for the past 27 years.  I received my BS in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1986.  I completed my MS in Education from the University of Arizona in 1994.   I work with all grade levels, as well as consulting with general education teachers about the needs of students with hearing impairments so that the students may be successful in the classroom.   I have completed my ESL endorsement as well as elementary certification including a certification in middle school math.
