SIM is Making a Difference!
The Space Integration Module received NSTA's Making a Difference Award! This award recognizes excellence in a science program developed and implemented by teachers grades K-12. Using innovative and effective teaching strategies to influence students to explore and investigate science SIM is honored to be selected as the 2011 winner.
SIM wins National PBS Award! PBS reports, "The Teachers Innovation Award winners use media creatively to engage and support their students in new ways, representing the highest standard of innovation in education, and we are pleased to have them collaborate with us as we help prepare tomorrow’s workforce. See the top 10 winners!
SIM GOES TO NASA! SIM is presented in a 90 minute session at the Space Exploration Educators Conference / SEEC, held at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, each February. We are honored to be selected and present this award-winning MPS program to educators from across the country!
NATIONAL SCIENCE TEACHERS ASSOCIATION SIM was presented at the NSTA Regional Conference in Phoenix, December 3, 2009. A group of enthusiastic teachers from across the country were able to sit in the command module, operate the Mars rover and have a blast!
