SIM Makes a Difference

The Space Integration Module has been selected to receive the DCAT Making a Difference Award from the  National Science Teachers Association.This award recognizes excellence in a science program developed and implemented by teachers grades K-12. Using innovative and effective teaching strategies to influence students to explore and investigate science SIM is honored to be selected as the 2011 winner.

The SIM received the " Golden Bell Award" in the 2007-2008 school year. Awarded by the Arizona School Boards Association (ASBA), the Golden Bell Award recognizes school programs from throughout the state that have shown outstanding successes in student achievement.

In partnership, Mesa Schools and The Boeing Company have won national recognition for their collaborative efforts.

SIM is presented in a 90-minute session at the Space Exploration Educators Conference / SEEC, held at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, each February. We are honored to be selected and to present this award-winning MPS program to educators from across the country!
