ECA State Tax Credit Donations directly impact and benefit Stapley students
In past years parents and community members have donated money to Stapley Junior High School in the form of a tax credit called the ECA fund, otherwise known as Extracurricular Activities. ECA monies may only be used at Stapley and may not replace or supplant anything the district already pays for to reach regular curriculum goals, hence the Extracurricular Activities name.

ECA support strenghtens Stapley's community
Highly engaging and quality activities at Stapley Junior High including fine arts, clubs and athletics are expensive to provide. Without the community's generous donations to Stapley's ECA accounts programs would not be able to be supported. Two-thirds of the students are involved in a variety of club activities or athletics. A mountain of research continuously tells us that high student involvement in extracurricular activities is the strongest signal of a healthy junior high school environment. With your continued support Stapley will continue to offer the activities that strengthen our school community.
Our Stapley students will soon enter challenging high school classes and then competitive college environments. A comforting thought regarding this competitive world rests in the knowledge that Stapley students will be better prepared to handle these challenges thanks to our effective ECA programs.
