Welcome back 8th graders. Second semester is on its way, and you are half way to 9th grade!

Second semester will focus primarily on writing-specifically persuasive writing.  Besides the art of writing, we will be focused on the construction of a sentence.  That means we will work hard to perfect sentence fluency through grammar and sentence variety.

Third quarter is usually an arduous one, and one that will prepare you for your CRTS (district writing exams) in March, and your AIMS exams in May.
